This quote basically says that in order to achieve great success you must betray others to help yourself. This quote is almost in favor of betrayal. Although not directly saying that betrayal is a good thing it does say that betrayal is a necessary part of getting ahead in life.

This quote says that it is better to die than to be betrayed as death does not lie about what it will bring. This is probably the most anti betrayal quote that I could find. it seems a bit extreme at first, but after you think about it, you start to see where the author is coming from.
